Co-Founder · Head of TranslationShe has completed M.Phil from the Department of Political Science, Dibrugarh University, and has expertise in the field of body politics, gender, memory studies, indigenous issues, ethnography etc. She has presented her works on national and international platforms. Her academic works are published by international publishers including Routledge publication.
Professionally, she heads the translation branch of 'The Bridge: Editors and Translators'. Her involvement in the field of translation is not only professional, but also promotes reformist and feminist causes. Her being the editor of the Assamese Menstrupedia comic is the best example of it. She has also worked in different translation projects with the audiobook app 'Storytel India'.
In addition, she also has experience of working with Sasakawa Peace Foundation, Japan that provided funding to India for promotion of peace. Her concept photography 'The Half-Locked Door' published by Zubaan's 'Through Her Lens' series was also featured in 'Mumbai Mirror', a Mumbai based news daily.
Alongside managing this platform, she is currently serving as a Researcher at the North Eastern Social Research Centre (NESRC), Guwahati since the past two years. She co-authored the book "Indigenous Discourse in North East India: Land, Belonging and Power", published by NESRC in April, 2026.
